International Tax Law

team-detail

Compliance with ever-stricter tax regulations is becoming increasingly challenging, especially in a cross-border area such as tax law.

Double taxation agreements

International cooperation between the Principality of Liechtenstein and Switzerland with other countries in the area of taxation is governed by double taxation agreements. Double taxation agreements are treaties which help states avoid the same income being subjected to tax more than once, by similar taxes for the same taxpayer, for the same period of time.

Liechtenstein and Switzerland have concluded a large number of such double taxation agreements from which taxable persons can benefit.
